At Little Learners Childcare Centre, We are a privately owned service providing care to the community from ages 6 weeks to 12 years. By following our Philosophy, vision and values, we create a nurturing, stimulating and welcoming learning environment for all children.

Imaginative Play
Imaginative play is essential for young children to create and adapt life scenarios in a world in which they can create.
Our Environments and scaffold teaching practices build upon this in a emergent style curriculum where children’s interests are built upon and child’s voices reflected in their learning.
Outdoor Play
Depending on your family’s schedule, our Outdoor Play might be the right fit for you. No matter what your child needs, each of our programs will provide the support and tools necessary for optimal growth.
Music Lessons
We are fortunate to have such a talented team, who spend their time developing and implementing a musical program across all age groups from Nursery through to our Kindergarten Programs.
This program explores sound, song, Instruments and encourages courage and individuality.
Swimming Lessons
As advocates of Water Safety, We have partnered with our local swim school and provide swimming lessons for ages 3+ years.
We have a courtesy bus where children are safely transported to and from their lessons.
Small classes are run at 30 minute lesson blocks.

Little Learners Child Care Centre provides a warm, safe and secure environment that supports children’s learning and risk taking.
We believe that children are active and powerful contributors to their own learning and development, and teachers must support and guide children towards meeting there full learning potential. We acknowledge the importance of play and believe that children need to explore and learn at their own pace, ultimately through rich, meaningful and challenging play experiences.
Parents/guardians are the child’s first and most influential teacher, and as such would find it highly beneficial to build trusting partnerships with families where teacher and parent can work together to meet the individual needs of a child both at home and at school.
The environment should reflect warmth, love and respect, which will in turn produce shared feelings of trust, security, respect, acceptance and belonging among all children. We believe in positive encouragement and acknowledgement of a child’s behaviour, helping to enhance confidence and self-esteem.
We believe that children learn best in an environment where their individuality is respected, valued and embraced.
We strive to provide children with an educational setting in a home-like atmosphere. Our environments offer welcoming and inviting spaces which facilitate children’s thoughts, interests and abilities of each child.
